Her Health Matters

Her Health Matters is a movement program designed to tackle health disparities that disproportionately affect Black women, including heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity. We provide a safe and welcoming space for Black women to learn and heal through movement and mindfulness practices. Our program includes mindfulness-based stress reduction, deep breathing strategies, meditation, restorative yoga for race-based trauma, dance, and more. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each session, helping you build strength, flexibility, and resilience. Join us and prioritize your health and well-being through movement and mindfulness!

Healthy For Life

Healthy For Life is a nutrition and well-being program, in partnership with The American Heart Association. It is designed to empower communities of color to make healthy food and lifestyle choices. Through our evidence-based community nutrition programs, you'll learn how to reduce the occurrence of nutrition-related health risks and increase your overall well-being. Our program includes educational discussions, peer support, and instruction on healthy cooking, preventive lifestyle practices, eating habits, physical activity, and culturally relevant cooking. With the guidance of our experienced health coach, you'll have the tools and resources you need to make sustainable changes that will lead to a healthier and happier you.

Sisters Connect

Sisters Connect is a mental health and peer support group space designed to promote the unique healing needs of our communities and provide safe spaces for individuals to share their experiences and feelings, connect and support each other.

Each month, our peer support groups cover a different topic related to the healing needs of community. These topics may include mental health, trauma, self-care, cultural identity, and more.

In addition, we offer educational workshops and activities that prioritize mental health, promote self-care, and wellness practices.
